Websites for small businesses
New websites and rebuilds for small businesses: fast on a phone, easy to find on Google, and built so the next customer can actually get in touch.
- Scoped per project
- UK based
- Founder-led delivery
Most small business websites are not bad because of how they look. They lose customers in quieter ways: a booking button that disappears on a phone, a contact form nobody ever receives, a link that shows a bare address when it is shared on WhatsApp, or a page Google cannot tell apart from three others.
We build new sites and rebuild existing ones for businesses that live or die on the next enquiry. The work starts from what a customer is trying to do when they land on your site, usually on a phone, and makes that one thing easy.
Before we quote, we look at the site you have now, properly, the way a customer would. You get what we find whether you work with us or not.
Included
What you get
Every engagement includes all of this. None of it turns up later as an extra.
Built for the phone first
Most of your visitors arrive on a phone. Every page is designed and tested at phone width first, so the call, book, or quote button is always one tap away.
Found on Google
Page titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap, and one clean address per page, set up during the build so Google knows what you do and where.
Enquiries that arrive
Contact forms that actually deliver, spam protection that does not block real people, and email set up so your replies do not land in junk.
Looks right when shared
A proper preview image and title on every page, so a link sent over WhatsApp, iMessage, or Facebook shows your business rather than a bare address.
Content you can change
Opening hours, prices, and news that you can update yourself, or send to us and we change it. Your choice, agreed up front.
Your domain, your site
The domain, the code, and the hosting account stay in your name. If you move to someone else later, everything goes with you.
In detail
How we approach it
We start with what is costing you customers
Every project starts with a check of the site you have now: on a real phone, in Google, in a shared link, and through the contact form. We rank what we find by what it costs you in enquiries, not by how technical it sounds, and we lead with the three that matter most.
Sometimes the answer is a handful of fixes rather than a new site. If that is the case, we will say so.
A working preview before you commit
For a new site or a rebuild, you see a working version in your browser early, built with your own photos, reviews, and wording where we have them. It is far easier to react to a real page than to a description of one, and it means nothing goes live until you have confirmed it.
What we do not do
We do not sell monthly SEO packages that promise a ranking position, and we do not lock your site into a platform you cannot leave. We build it properly once, hand it over, and stay available when you need a change.

Send us your address
We go through your site the way a customer would: on a phone, in Google, in a shared link, and through the contact form. You get back the three things we think are costing you the most.
Yours to keep either way, whether you work with us or hand it to whoever looks after the site now. No sales call required.
Process
How it runs
Four steps from first call to launch. No surprises, no disappearing acts.
Call
One focused call to understand what you need, who it is for, and what success looks like. You leave with a clear, written scope and a proposal.
Prototype
You are clicking through a working prototype with most of the core features live, early in the project. Real screens in the browser, not static mockups.
Refine
We shape the prototype into the finished product, folding in every amendment you ask for. Nothing ships until you have confirmed the final build.
Deploy
We take it live on the hosting provider and domain of your choosing, fully wired up, and stay close after launch to keep it running smoothly.

FAQ
Business Websites questions
How much does a small business website cost?
It depends on how many pages you need, whether customers book or pay on the site, and how much content you already have. We look at your current site first and quote a fixed price after a short call, so you know the full cost before anything starts.
Can you fix my current site instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. Plenty of sites need three or four targeted fixes rather than a rebuild. We will tell you which one we think yours needs and why, including when the smaller job is the right answer.
What is the free website check?
Send us your web address and we go through the site the way a customer would: on a phone, in Google, in a shared link, and through the contact form. We send back the three things we think are costing you the most. It is yours to keep, whether you work with us or hand it to whoever looks after the site now.
Will I be able to update it myself?
If you want to, yes. We agree up front which parts you will edit yourself, such as opening hours, prices, or news, and set those up so you can. If you would rather send changes to us, that works too.
Do I own the website and the domain?
Yes. The domain, the code, and the hosting account are in your name from the start. Nothing about the way we build is designed to stop you moving to someone else later.
How long does it take?
A straightforward site is usually live within a few weeks. The part that most often slows a project down is waiting for photos, wording, or access to the old site, so the sooner those arrive the sooner you are live.
